Are my donations tax-deductible?

Your contribution to the Ohio Dermatological Foundation, which is a 501C-3, can be a tax deductible contribution as long as no goods or services were received in lieu of the donation. Contributions to the Ohio Dermatological Association, which is a 501C-6 charitable organization, are not deductible as charitable contributions on the donor’s federal income tax return.

Do I have to donate on-line?
No—checks are accepted and can be sent to the appropriate organization at 698 Dalton Fox Lake Road, Dalton, OH 44618.
Do I have to have a PayPal account to donate?
No. Once you engage the PayPal website, there is an option to pay by credit card.
What is the difference between ODA and ODF?
ODA—A professional organization for dermatologists and qualified physician extenders to promote and foster the common and business interests of this the specialty of dermatology.

ODF—The ODF was formed to promote the education of physicians especially dermatologists in the diagnosis, care and cure of skin diseases, and to promote the best interests in the specialty of dermatology in the state of Ohio by jointly sponsoring the ODA Annual Meeting.
