Support Skin Cancer Awareness Month This May

Ask Congress to Promote Skin Cancer Awareness & Prevention
In an effort to raise congressional support for skin cancer prevention, awareness, and education, Representative Dave Joyce and leaders of the Congressional Skin Cancer Caucus have introduced H. Res. 323, which urges state and local lawmakers to lift bans on sunscreen in schools, encourages development of policies that increase access to sunscreen, and supports efforts to educate children and parents about sun-safe behavior. As the incidence of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers continues to rise, it is more important than ever to educate policymakers and the public about skin cancer prevention and about the dangers of UV exposure.
