HB 329: Tanning Bed Legislation

The Legislative and Advocacy Committee and the ODA board are pleased to announce that the ODA will be pursuing tanning legislation HB 329, to prohibit sun lamp tanning services for those under age 18. Republican Representative Brett Hillyer and Democrat Representative Mary Lightbody are joint sponsors on this bill. Our slogan for this campaign is “This One’s for Lou” as we continue this great endeavor that was started by previous ODA member Dr. Louis Barich. Monica Hueckel, ODA lobbyist, will provide the membership with more details of this legislation during her ODA briefing at the annual meeting.
