Attached is sign-on letter that is being circulated by several specialty societies regarding surprise billing legislation. The letter is intended to be signed by smaller and independent physician practices to emphasize that the wrong approach to a surprise billing solution may disproportionally impact small physician groups and the care they provide to patients. The letter is also consistent with the American Academy of Dermatology Association’s advocacy on surprise billing legislation.
