The Ohio Dermatological Association will host the 2024 Advocacy Day at the Statehouse on Wednesday, May 22nd. During this day, we are looking for volunteers to meet with legislators to discuss potential issues such as Ban on Tanning, Modifier 25 reform and Scope of Practice Issues. We are also looking to meet with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy about potential changes to compounding rules and regulations.

Resident members are also encouraged to join and participate in the ODA Advocacy Day. During the Advocacy Day, meetings will be led by the ODA lobbyists Monica Hueckel and Joe Rosato. There will be a morning briefing, followed by meetings with legislators and the day will conclude with lunch provided by the ODA. The day will run approximately from 9am – 2pm.

If you are interested in participating in this day, please contact Jill Hostetler at odaexec@ohderm.org.
